This time we will hike along lake Walensee from Walenstadtberg to Weesen. Along the way we will have views of the stunning lake Walensee, cliffs and waterfalls! This hike is ideal for more casual hikers, as a small gradual climb will be followed by a long descent to the shores of the lake. So you can save your attention and breath for conversations with fellow hikers.

A round trip will cost approximately 30CHF with the the Half-Fare card. If you do not have a Half-Fare card, we can organize and buy SBB day-passes for the group for approximately that price (SBB Friends Day Pass for Youth). Make sure to join the Whatsapp group ahead of time if you are interested.

Depending on our hiking time, for example 18:43 – 19:48 (Fli, Seestern → Zürich HB)

However with connections every 30 minutes, we will not have to wait long for the next connection if we are faster or slower.

Notes

Don’t forget to bring enough water and food for the day. We will make sure to do plenty of snack and water breaks, plus at least one long picnic break for lunch.
